Lovely Fireflies! Fly Away! (素敵なホタル！ 飛び去る! Suteki na Hotaru! Tobisaru!?) is the 4th episode of the Luminous Live anime series and the 4th episode of its "Arc A: Twinkle Luminous Cup" saga.
Synopsis
"Yurina becomes curious of an anti-social, yet popular classmate of hers and seeks out to find her perfect boyfriend. So when the two get paired up for an audition, Yurina must learn how to understand the seemingly untouchable girl by Hotaru."
Plot Summary
Yurina becomes curious about her classmate, Hotaru Akahoshi, who appears to be something of a loner.
Later, Makoto ends up paired with Hotaru for an upcoming audition for a male fashion show. As Makoto trains with Azuma and Keisuke to act like a male model, Hotaru laments about his former partner. Prior to the audition, Ted gives Yurina some advice on Hotaru.
On the day of the audition, Hotaru takes Yurina behind the scenes to show her an idol's purpose on the runway: to express the feelings of the staff, supporters and audience.
After passing the audition, Hotaru reveals to Yurina about his former roommate, who had to drop out, which had left Makoto in a funk before auditioning with Yurina.
