Happiness Story of Royal Wedding (幸せのロイヤルウエディングストーリー ~Married To The KINGS!!!~, Shiawase no Roiyaru Uedingu Sutōrī ~Married To The KINGS!!!~^?) is a Japanese R18 doujin romance visual novel and role-playing video game based on popular JRPG game, Final Fantasy Golden Stories. The game was released for Microsoft Windows personal computers in Japan in May 30, 2020 and worldwide in September 18, 2020. Honey Productions later hands over to Alembic Thunderbolt, Square Enix and Idea Factory to released the version without the erotic content, and the game was ported to Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch. The story follows the player traveling around Krajina to serves four rulers of four kingdoms and having romantic intimacy with them. The game features four main stories; mostly linear story, with some alternative scenes and endings depending on the choices the player makes. Splitted into four love stories, four handsome kings has own unique backstories and personalities with five optional sexual partners. There are three different endings: Sugar, Honey and Sacred, plus Valentine's Day short stories and Threesome side stories.

Gameplay

Happiness Story of Royal Wedding is a doujin role-playing and romance game in which the player assumes the role of the 17-year-old common girl who can choose from a variety of main male characters as her love interests and suitors. Each of male character has unique personalities, traits and romantic relationship in every time your level increases. Much of its gameplay is spent on reading the story's narrative and dialogue. Happiness Story of Royal Wedding follows a branching storyline and single episode love story with multiple endings and depending on the decisions the player makes.

The game initially features four main plot lines, one for each of the player's suitor. Following the completion of all four, there are three different endings: Sugar, Honey and Sacred, plus Valentine's Day short stories and Threesome side stories. Throughout gameplay, the player is given certain tasks from certain NPCs, and the progression pauses at these points until a task is completed. Throughout gameplay, there are scenes with sexual CGs depicting player and her lovers having sex when he confesses his love.

Development

Team Daedalus announced they were producing the doujin game in collaboration with REGULUS. Megumi Aramaki was credited for the scenario, while Honyalala, the creator of Nitro+chiral's boys love visual novel DRAMAtical Murder, was cretited for the concept and character designs.

An R18 doujin romance visual novel and role-playing game was released for Microsoft Windows personal computers in Japan in February 15, 2020 and worldwide in September 23, 2020. Alembic Thunderbolt, Square Enix and Idea Factory later released the version without the erotic content under the title "Happiness Story of Royal Wedding -The Royal Switch-, and was ported to Nintendo Switch.

The game's computer-graphic opening movie for Microsoft Windows and Linux is done by Itsuya Mizutono, the opening theme song for PC,"Theme of Mythical Love", was performed by Hifumi and the ending theme song ,"Love Ties That Kissed", was performed by Manaka Sawa (Masatomo Nakazawa). The game's opening and in-game anime cutscenes for Nintendo Switch was done by Studio Cygnus with animation directed by Naoko Yamaoka while the 3D edition of opening and in-game cutscene was done by Visual Works. The theme song for Nintendo Switch version,"Turn the World into My Beloved Ones", was performed by Psychic Lover × LIGHTNING TIGER and the ending theme song ,"Ever After Fantasy", was performed by KINGS of Krajina (Kayes, Schenider, Cid and Leo) feat. Hironobu Kageyama.

Netflix ONA

Megumi Aramaki presents the 13-episodes romance original net animation series based on R18 doujin otome video game of same name, in which streamed on Netflix in Autumn 2020 after final episode of the series remake. This series centered around the protagonist, an ordinary girl from common town, who struggles to focus on her duty to choice one of the four suitors as the lady-in-waiting and future maiden. The series is directed by Tomohiko Itou (Sword Art Online) and written by Makoto Uezu (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), with co-animation by Studio Cygnus and REGULUS. Makoto Uno provides Honyalala's character designs and Norihito Sumitomo composing the anime's soundtrack. Unlike visual novel, the explicit sexuality and nudity content were censored with a black filter and light glow in order to focus on more mature romance intimacy moments. Madoka Yonezawa will joined the casts as the protagonist in anime only. The opening theme song for anime is Hey, Flower Maiden! (ねえ、花乙女!, Nē, Hana Otome!^?) performed by Kayes (Masatomo Nakazawa), Schenider (Takuya Satou), Cid (Hiroki Takahashi), and Leo (Masahiro Yamanaka) under the characters' singing unit, KINGS of Krajina, respectively. The second ending theme song is Bouquet of White Dream (白夢の花束, Shiroyume no Hanabata^?) performed by Hiroki Takahashi and Masahiro Yamanaka, who voiced Cid and Leo, respectively, used for episodes 5 to 8. The third ending theme song is Kiss the Sweet Sky (甘い空にキス, Amai Sora ni Kisu^?) performed by KINGS of Krajina, respectively, used for episodes 9 to 12.
