Final Fantasy Golden Stories: Concursus Mythica Reformandam, known in Japan as Final Fantasy Seiken Densetsu GOLD: Concursus Mythica Reformandam (ファイナルファンタジー聖剣伝説GOLD Concursus Mythica Reformandam Fainaru Fantajī Seiken Densetsu Gōrudo Concursus Mythica Reformandam?, lit.: Final Fantasy Legend of Holy Sword GOLD: Mythical Clash Remake) is an 18-episodes fantasy romance anime fanseries, produced as collaboration between REGULUS, Square Enix and Studio Cygnus. It is remake of the original anime series which aired in 2002, based on video game by Eternal Dragonpolis and part of Project Holy Sword Revival -Cygnus Stars Trilogy- triple featured project. Like original series, the motif is based on common elements of Final Fantasy series with common superhuman powers and fighting between goods and evils similar to Dragon Ball, Final Fantasy, Sailor Moon and Yu Yu Hakusho. It is directed by Naohiro Shintani (Dragon Ball Super: Broly) and written by Megumi Aramaki, with Hajime Watanabe designing the characters, and Yasuharu Takanashi composing the music. The series will be aired on LittleLulu Animanga Network and Fuji TV at Spring to Summer 2020.

Story

Note: the story plot will be same as original series' stories.

An events begin a scene of bloody conflict between two parties: Claudio, the holy kingdom, where the lasting peace stand, and Hell Gorge, the demons were seeks to conquer the world, ended up in the Claudio's Fall and seal Avatar beasts forever.

15 years later, somewhere in the green Earth called Krajina, it's start with a mysterious objects called the Dragon Orbs. The Dragon Orbs were intended to be a thing of extraordinary magic and power, something to be revered, not for the ease of their method, but for the dream of never having to use them. Those Dragon Orbs are a worship with a mystical humanoid called Orlanmians, who are living in peace at Holy City of Olando since they're keeping them for peace. However, when the demonic spy attempt to obtain the Dragon Orbs for evil scheme, those orbs separate away to the various world. The crown-prince of Claudio, Prince Kayes, has changed his mind and beginning his journey with his childhood friend. Princess Laura and his army of Claudio called Human to gathers the six Dragon Orbs to grant a wish for the peace. But not until the three other army shows up: the Elflimian, the mysterious elf-like creatures with oriental clothes, the Orlanmian, and the Demons. During the war, each of them were fall in love, love can kill. But will the Earth regain back to peace despite the love and violence?

Laura is the main protagonist of the story, introducing as a princess of Claudio Kingdom. She always watching over her people doing works and training to become the next soldiers. She Inherited with a legendary beasts known as Avatar, a powerful monsters given to her after her mother's death. She's very loyalty and kind-hearten woman, but blamed for what have she done after betrayed her brother, Schneider. Her quest is gathering six Dragon Orbs to regain a peace and have a new friends. But her sworn off marriage has changed when she fall in love to Kayes after she lost her former husband, Richard. She evently crowned as the new Queen of Claudio, married to Kayes, who also crowned as the third king and fourth holy knight of Krajina, and given the birth to the first child named Arthur.
Kayes Leonhart Claudio XII (ケイズ・レオンハート・クラウディオXII Keizu Reonhāto Kuraudio XII?)

Kayes is the main deuteragonist of the story, the crown-prince of Claudio Kingdom. Kayes plays a key role in the series especially Laura, his childhood friend and later his wife. He desire to become the king no matter what. When he learned about a true legend of Holy Knight inherited by the former King of Claudio, Medgar, he settle his journey to seek and become the Holy Knight to stop Schneider's evil scheme.
Carlos Crescent (カルロス・クレセント Karurosu Kuresento?)

Carlos is a general of Claudio army who wield the spear and uses the lifeblood of the Dragon Spells. Respected with all honor, Carlos is a hot-headed young man who has a scar mark on his chest due to his symbol of Red-Eyed Dragon (赤目の竜 Akame no Ryū?). Although he has a dragon's blood, he has intimate relationship Fiona and always caring her very much.
Zina Luikvälja (ジナ・ルイクバハ Jina Ruikubaha?)

Zina is the captain of of Claudio army, older twin sister of Fiona and the one of the twin children of wealthy Luikvälja family. She and her sister lost their older brothers at the hands of Schneider made Laura banish him. She is the strong-willed young woman with her power to be reckoned and wield an Axe as her favorite weapon. During her quest alongside the party, she fall in love to an handsome Elflimian soldier named Lowil Easthart and made her change of her heart, despite she fighting him.

Fiona is the priestess at Claudio's St. Carolina Church, younger twin of Zina and Carlos' love interest. Always being a cheerful young woman, she possessed with the white magic to heal an allies and seems to play a harp as her weapon. She loves Carlos so much and seems are going on dating together, dreaming to marrying him one day.

The main heroine of the spin-off anime. A 19-year-old sweet and kind girl from common village to the Hisei father, the high-ranked samurai from Hisei people, and the human mother. She has been chosen as maid of the four handsome rulers. In final moment, she sacrificed her life to use the power to overcome Ganova and is saved from almost death of respiratory failure by Kayes before she married to Kagero, her true love, and became the new empress of Hisei. Her default name, Haruhime Onishi (大西 ハルヒメ Ōnishi Haruhime?), was planned to be named, but leaved without mentioned her name for final update, simply as the protagonist.

Tow-parts Netflix ONA Films

Megumi Aramaki revealed that Final Fantasy Golden Stories anime’s final episode would continue as a two-part original net animation film project adapting from the game made from Eternal Dragonpolis. On July 2020, it was announced that the title of the movies will be Febulosa Bellum -Final Fantasy Golden Stories-. The first part is going to be streamed on Netflix in Autumn 2020 and second part will streamed in Winter 2021 instead of theatrical films. Junichi Sato returned from the original anime series to direct the two films. An R18 edition of the films were streamed on REGULUS Delta Force channel. The first film featured the only, on-screen strong graphic sexual scene where the newly wed Kayes and Laura have sex in Chamber of Holy Knights (although genitals and nipples were censored) and it seen Laura moans and cries in painful pleasure as her juice dripping on blanket after she cames, followed by Kayes grunting and moaning as he released the liquid inside of her. The second film featured the strong graphic violence during Lazzaro's last battle, which shown a lots of bloods and gore when Kayes slices Lazzaro's arm and Lazzaro screams bloody murder in agony, following up with Lazzaro's final form covered with blood and organic after being defeated by the Warriors of Light.

Megumi Aramaki presents the 13-episodes romance original net animation series based on R18 doujin otome video game of same name, in which streamed on Netflix in September 29, 2020 after final episode of the series remake. This series centered around the protagonist, an ordinary girl from common town, who struggles to focus on her duty to choice one of the four suitors as the lady-in-waiting and future maiden. The series is directed by Tomohiko Itou (Sword Art Online) and written by Makoto Uezu (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), with co-animation by Studio Cygnus and Toei Animation (replacing REGULUS). Hisashi Kagawa (Sailor Moon, Fresh PreCure and Tiger Mask W) provides Honyalala's character designs and Norihito Sumitomo composing the anime's soundtrack. Unlike visual novel, the explicit sexuality and nudity content were omitted/tuned down in order focus on light romance. Madoka Yonezawa will joined the casts as the protagonist in anime only. The opening theme song for anime is Sirius (シリウス Shiriusu?) performed by BUMP OF CHICKEN, respectively. The first ending theme song is Love Lives Within You (愛は君の中に住んでる Ai wa Kimi no Naka ni Sunderu?) performed by Tomokazu Seki and Masakazu Nishida, who voiced Kayes and Schneider, respectively, used for episodes 1 to 4. The second ending theme song is Bouquet of White Dream (白夢の花束 Shiroyume no Hanabata?) performed by Kenji Hamada and Yuuichi Nakamura, who voiced Cid and Leo, respectively, used for episodes 5 to 8. The third ending theme song is Kiss the Sweet Sky (甘い空にキス Amai Sora ni Kisu?) performed by KINGS of Krajina, respectively, used for episodes 9 to 12. The fourth and final ending theme song is Eternal White Wedding (永遠のホワイトウェディング Eien no Howaito Uedingu?) performed by Kayes, respectively, only used for episode 13. The series was licensed and dubbed by LittleLulu Studio English shortly after Japanese version's first episode released. The Arabic version of the series were dubbed by LittleLulu Studio Arabia and it will be streamed on LittleLulu Animanga Network.

Musics and Soundtracks

Yasuharu Takanashi composed the score for Final Fantasy Golden Stories remake and two-parts Netflix films. The series uses six pieces of theme music are used: three opening theme and three ending themes.

The first opening theme song is Warriors of Four Stars (四つ星のWarrior Yottsuboshi no Warrior?) performed by Youhei Onishi, respectively, used for episodes 1 to 6 and reprised for final episode. The second opening theme song is Shining Drive (シャイニングドライブ Shainingu Doraibu?) performed by Toshiki Masuda, respectively, used for episodes 7 to 12. The third and final opening theme song is DRAGON -Holy Dragon of Hope- (DRAGON -希望の聖龍- DRAGON -Kibō no Seiryū-?) performed by Hironobu Kageyama, who came back since he performed two opening theme songs for original FFGS anime in 2002, respectively, used for episodes 13 to 17.

The first ending theme song is Perfect Peace (完全な平和 Kanzen na Heiwa?) performed by Tomokazu Seki and Masakazu Nishida, who voice Kayes and Schneider, respectively, used for episodes 1 to 6 and reprised for final episode. The second ending theme song is Heart of the Dream (夢の心 Kokoro no Yume?) performed by Saeko Chiba and Masakazu Nishida, who voice the siblings Laura and Schneider, respectively, used for episodes 7 to 12. The third and final ending theme song is Romantic With You... (あなたとロマンチック... Anata to Romanchikku...?) performed by Saeko Chiba and Tomokazu Seki, who voice Laura and Kayes, respectively, used for episodes 13 to 17.

Final Fantasy Golden Stories Character Song Collection -Four Kingdoms Music- is the four-parts music album related to the series. It will contain character songs for each album performed by the voice actors and actresses of the 20 characters, plus four musical bands performing the theme songs for each four clans. Golden Stories Triple Star: Laura/Kayes/Schneider Vocal Collection is a maxi-single of image songs for the characters Kayes, Laura and Schneider performed by their voice actors.

Ikemen Royal Fantasy Character Song Collection -White Fantasy Dream- is the all-male music album released on March 14, 2021 on White Day, related to Happiness Story of Royal Wedding. It will contain male character songs for the album performed by the voice actors of 9 male characters. An album's cover artwork was done by Honyalala.
